Monument Valley Part 1
The balloon flight guy (Brian) came to get me with his photographer friend at 5:30 am the next morning. Then we had to go pick up our Navajo guide, and 2 people who were in the group from Wales, Scotland. Now mind you.... We were on Navajo Time, which is Utah time, which is an hour later than Arizona time. OMG! I was so confused by which time to go by I told the front desk to just call me at 4 am so I am sure I'm up. LOL. It was a little scary driving to Gouldings to pick up our Scotland people. It was so dark out there... and signs all over about cows, elk and horses crossing. Anyway, here I am not far from the entrance to Monument Valley.
Whew! I was glad to finally get there! I believe it was 12:18 pm, AZ time (3:18 pm EST). I left Newark at 7:00 am in the morning!
And now the sun is brightening up the canyon and we see what they call 'the 3 sisters'.
That's Brian. He's trying to watch a little helium balloon he launched to see which direction the wind takes it.
